A good set up for an unexpectd ending.
One strives to achieve – Good or bad. And it doesn’t end there. After the achievement, a new void fills in. And mind now needs a new goal. “How mind works”, is beautifully captured here.

I have always wondered what the Joker, Lex Luthor and all the other arch enemies of our heroes would do if they actually won. I’m guessing they need the struggle more than the victory.
