Love this story, brings up the dangers of reporters in combat areas as well as the soliders.

“Journalists are people too” is a vital, important message. Unfortunately, when this gets presented in fiction, the results are overly earnest, grim, or else presented with too-heavy gravitas.
Within 140 characters, this piece manages to avoid all of those shortcomings. Instead, it humanizes the reporter’s experience, by framing it within the context of a loved one, who also happens to be a viewer. It balances off the professional risks with the personal connections, without trivializing either. Great work!
