Thank you, sweet Gayle! Would you believe that it’s based on the truth? Yep, when I was a little girl, I genuinely believed that time mysteriously stretched and suspended in order to turn the winter solstice into the longest night of the year. And that I really would get more sleep, even if I stuck to my regular bedtime and woke up at the normal hour. Yeah, what can I say: logic has never been one of my strong suits!

Very nice, can almost feel the excitement of “extra dream time”.
An interesting twisdt on the solstice, the child’s view of something magic.

Little did Amy know that the monster that lived under her bed also relished those few extra seconds to come up with the perfect marinade recipe…
Well Redsaid you do it again in transporting us to a world where logic does not matter. Thank you
